SAFETY INITIATIVES
Tube City IMS has a full time Safety Department whose goal is to reduce accidents, injuries, and incidents to zero-tolerance. This goal
is designed to protect our employees, as well as the steel mill we service. An active management Safety Committee is on-site with well-documented meetings.
Each site holds daily (Monday-Friday) 20 minute safety sessions, as well as our monthly meetings. All OSHA and company training is completed by trained safety
professionals for a pro-active approach.
We strive to continue to maintain a zero incident rate through various meetings and incentives. Our Safety Program
is designed to meet or exceed all applicable OSHA requirements for employee safety including.
