Joseph Curtin, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer
With decades of experience in the steel industry, including 28 years with Tube City IMS, Joseph
leverages his expansive knowledge of our business to grow and develop our successful international industrial
services business. Mr. Curtin was appointed Chairman of our board of directors in August 2011.
He has served as President and Chief Executive Officer since August 2009, the same time he joined our board of directors.
He served as Vice Chairman from August 2008 until August 2009. Prior to his
appointment as President and CEO, Joseph served as President and Chief Operating Officer of our Raw Material
and Optimization Group, a position he held since December 2004. Since early in his career in 1977, Joseph has been
involved in trading operations, sales and marketing in the metal recycling industry. He received a Bachelor of Arts
degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Business Administration from Duquesne University.
J. David Aronson, President and Chief Operating Officer, Raw Material and Optimization Group
David leads the growth and diversification of the Raw Material and Optimization Group. Prior to running
this group, David served as Executive Vice President, Outsourced Purchasing, for our Raw Material and
Optimization Group, where he was responsible for its domestic and international trading operations. He has
worked in the scrap industry since 1989. David received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1989.
Raymond S. Kalouche, Chief Operating Officer, Tube City IMS and President and Chief Operating Officer, Mill Services Group
Ray was appointed corporate Chief Operating Officer in August 2009 and continues to serve as the
President and Chief Operating Officer of our Mill Services Group, a position he has held since December 2004. He has
been in the mill services industry since 1989, holding various positions in technical services, marketing and
operating as well as executive management. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from The
Ohio State University in 1983. He also has a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University in 1985.
Daniel E. Rosati, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
As Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Daniel is responsible for all financial
aspects of our business, including treasury, financial reporting and analysis, back office administration and
information technology. Prior to joining Tube City IMS, Daniel was Director of Finance for Black Box Corporation,
a publicly traded distributor of network infrastructure products and provider of network installation services.
Prior to that, from 1984 to 1993, Daniel was Senior Tax Manager with Arthur Andersen's Pittsburgh office. Daniel
graduated from Duquesne University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1987.
Thomas E. Lippard, Executive Vice President and Senior Vice President, General Counsel
Thomas is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, having previously held the
positions of Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration, General Counsel and Secretary. He also
serves as Managing Director of Tube City IMS subsidiaries throughout the world. Thomas joined Tube City IMS in
January 1997, having been outside counsel for the company from 1970 through 1996. From 1968 to 1996, he was a lawyer
in private practice, most recently as a partner at Thorp, Reed and Armstrong in Pittsburgh. Thomas attended
Haverford College, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1965 and a Juris Doctor
from the University of Chicago in 1968.
